English 10 G./H.: The students completed their grammar work covering prepositions (R.5) and conjunctions and interjections (R.6.)

Publications: Groups created their fall plan for taking pictures at athletic events, and began practicing taking specific types of pictures around the school.

English 10 G./H.: The students took the vocabulary quiz covering “The World on the Turtle’s Back.” Afterwards, we began reading the Iroquois creation myth and took notes.

Publications: We reviewed the advertisement sales trip and began working on the fall athletic event schedule for groups to take pictures.

September 15, 2017

English 10 G./H.: We reviewed the vocabulary work for “The World on the Turtle’s Back,” which the students will be quizzed on Monday. Afterwards, we finished our grammar work from yesterday.

Publications: The students completed their first yearbook advertisement sales in Tecumseh.

September 14, 2017

English 10 G./H.: The students were given 15 minutes in the library to find a D.E.A.R. book for the first marking period. Once we returned to class, the students began their grammar work covering prepositions (R.5) and conjunctions and interjections (R.6.)

Publications: We took the hour to discuss the yearbook ladder (pages) and group responsibilities. Each group has approximately 20 pages to complete, as well as helping with the class mugshot pages.
