English 10 G./H.: The students reviewed their after reading questions for Stride Toward Freedom and “Necessary to Protect Ourselves.” Afterwards, they took their quiz covering both pieces. Students that did not finish their vocabulary work covering James Baldwin’s “My Dungeon Shook: Letter to My Nephew on the One Hundredth Anniversary of the Emancipation” need to do so for homework.

English 10 G./H.: The students took their quiz covering allusions, and began working on their vocabulary for Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Stride Toward Freedom and Malcolm X’s interview transcript of “Necessary to Protect Ourselves” with Les Crane. The vocabulary is homework for students that did not finish in class.

English 10 G./H.: The students completed their grammar work covering quotation marks and italics (10.4,) and began their work covering parentheses and brackets (10.5) and their Ch.10 test review. We will finish our test review and take the Ch.10 test tomorrow.
