English 11:  The students completed their Night vocabulary worksheet for chapters one and two, and began working on their assessment review.  We will continue working on the review on Monday.

English 11:  The students took their Macbeth test, and afterwards began working with a partner on their Night introduction research.  The World War II notes and paragraphs can be written or typed, and the students must use at least two scholarly sources for homework.

English 11:  We reviewed Act 1-3 of Macbeth, and the students were assigned to choose one scene that is most critical to the plot thus far, illustrate it, and provide a paragraph summary explaining the conflict, characters, and setting involvedThe assignment is homework for students who did not finish in class.

English 10:  The students were given time to finish their notes and post reading questions for Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Fall of the House of Usher.” Afterwards, the students were assigned to choose one scene that is most critical to the plot, illustrate it, and provide a paragraph summary explaining the conflict, characters, and setting involved.

English 10:  The students read Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Masque of the Red Death,” and began working on their post reading questions.

English 11:  The students proofread and edited each other’s article rough drafts, made the needed revisions, and printed their final copies.  The students need to create their news poster board, and be ready to present their newscast tomorrow.
